Come Live At Village Oaks Apartments

Alamo Heights is a traditional subdivision, complete with grid streets and homes dating back to the 1960s. Because it is an established neighborhood, giant oak trees enhance the landscape and offer shady streets and sidewalks to residents. Residents enjoy easy, fast commutes with Downtown San Antonio just 10 miles south. Other destinations directly south of Alamo Heights include Fort Sam Houston Joint Base San Antonio, the University of the Incarnate Word, and the San Antonio Zoo.

Head northwest to the San Antonio International Airport and the North Star Mall. McAllister Park, also directly north of the neighborhood, features hiking trails, ball fields, and a dog park. While Alamo Heights is mostly residential, you’ll find an H-E-B, Starbucks, and other businesses along Nacogdoches Road. More shopping is located just outside the neighborhood along Basse Road, including the very popular Torchy’s Tacos.
